about
A song about a sordid love that is so strong that it crosses the boundaries of life and death.
"The death of a beautiful woman, is unquestionably the most poetical topic in the world" - Edgar Allan Poe
lyrics
Let the burial rite be read, the funeral song be sung
Who shall sing the requiem wrought by the spit of sorrow's tongue?
An emptiness befell me, before the hollowed husk the darkness bore
Whose hallowed soul ensnared by the tempest of night's plutonian shore
Was it amour that enthralled me or was it madness that implored
My revelries, most appalling, within her cadaver I explored
I squandered the beauty that haunted the harrowed dark
Sordid - my touch that ensnared her buried heart
Oh, how the dead doth sing for you, my darling
Those nights I dreamt away
I lost myself when your golden eyes fell to grey
Prayeth for morrow to deliver me from thy deathly queen
Oh, what horrors hath thee, the exalted seen
For thine eyes I loved now ebon as the plume, the ravens wore
Deliverance, I shall ask – nevermore
Let the burial rite be read, the funeral song be sung
Who shall sing the requiem wrought by the spit of sorrow's tongue?
An emptiness befell me, before the hollowed husk the darkness bore
Whose hallowed soul ensnared by the tempest of night's plutonian shore
Oh, how the dead doth sing for you, my darling
Those nights I dreamt away
I lost myself when your golden eyes fell to grey
Oh, how the dead doth sing for you, my darling
Those nights I dreamt away
I lost myself when my sodden eyes fell unto your grave

Unbelieveable how these guys grew so big so quick, you think? Think further I say and bang my head off to their crushingly heavy brand of symphonic deathcore. And they deliver this live as well and hopefully are going to wreck metal venues near you soon - and ruin your neck oc. They earned everything they got. mourner

Great album. One of the first (and still of the best) symphonic deathcore albums I've ever heard. Features are great, music hits like a truck. Vocals and instrumentation are fucking turbo, especially considering that this is a 1-man project. David Fischer
